Chinese Drywall Update 8/29/2011

Currently there are no significant updates to inspection or remediation guidance for problem drywall.  The latest guidance issued by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) was on 3/18/2011.

CONSUMER BEWARE!  It is still recommended that consumers perform their due diligence when contracting an Inspector for a Chinese Drywall Inspection.  ALWAYS ask if the Inspector is following current recommended guidance issued by the CPSC. And always ask what dated revision they are following.  If they are not following the guidance issued on 3/18/2011, you may be at risk!
